Vi è piaciuta la nuova canzone di Jasmine nel live action di Aladdin Speechless? Il brano scritto da Alan Menken con le parole di Benj Pasek e Justin Paul (La La Land, The Greatest Showman) è cantato in originale da Naomi Scott, che veste i panni della principessa di Agrabah in questa nuova versione. In italiano invece il pezzo, che si intitola La mia voce, è interpretato dalla cantante Naomi Rivieccio.

La canzone è stata aggiunta per dare a Jasmine il suo momento sotto i riflettori (nel film d’animazione infatti non aveva un assolo). Si è deciso per una canzone che rispecchiasse il suo percorso all’interno di questa storia, da ragazza sottomessa e obbligata ad ubbidire in silenzio a giovane donna che trova il coraggio di far valere la sua voce per i suoi diritti e per il bene del suo popolo.
