Alla fine degli anni ’70 il successo dei Queen inizia a travalicare i confini dell’Inghilterra, tanto da far entrare le loro canzoni nelle classifiche americane. Non resta che partire per un tour al di là dell’oceano, raccontato dalle note di Fat Bottomed Girls. In realtà la canzone fu registrata a Parigi durante un live nel 1978, ma usata nel film per il tour americano dei Queen.
