Il film Bohemian Rhapsody è un’occasione imperdibile per scoprire qualcosa di più sulla vita di Freddie Mercury, tra pubblico e privato, sulla storia dei Queen e per avere l’occasione di cantare tutti i brani più famosi della celebre band inglese. Come Killer Queen, We Will Rock You, Another One Bites the Dust, Radio Ga Ga o Hammer to Hall. Occasione diventata ancora più ghiotta con la versione sing along (ovvero karaoke) del film. Perfetto brano da cantare dal vivo, Hammer to Fall è stato inserito nella scaletta delle canzoni che i Queen hanno presentato al live aid del 1985. Scritto da Brian May, faceva parte dell’album The Works ed è stata usata nella colonna sonora di Highlander – L’ultimo immortale. Il significato del brano indica quanto sia fragile la vita e che la morte è inevitabile e per questo bisogna godersi ogni minuto della propria esistenza.
Una curiosità: il brano fu cantato da Gary Cherone, leader degli Extreme, durante il Freddie Mercury Tribute Concert.
