Esiste una canzone dei Queen più famosa di We are the Champions? Sono tante le canzoni amatissime in ogni parte del mondo, ma questa è speciale perché è una sorta di inno trionfale che accompagna ogni sportivo alla vittoria. Trionfale ed epica, la canzone We are the Champions è, se possibile, la più conosciuta della celebre band inglese. Scritta nel 1975 e inserita nell’album News of the World del 1977, veniva sempre eseguita dai Queen nei loro show dal vivo e dunque anche nel Live Aid del 1985. We are the Champions è da sempre utilizzata come colonna sonora delle vittorie sportive di tutto il mondo.

Curiosità: Nel 2011 Robbie Williams incise una versione di We are the Champions con i componenti rimanenti dei Queen per il film Il destino di un cavaliere.
