Ma la pellicola più premiata è stata American Hustle, insieme a Jennifer Lawrence e Amy Adams come Migliori attrici non e protagonista. Leonardo DiCaprio porta a casa il premio come Miglior attore protagonista per The Wolf of Wall Street insieme a Matthew McConaughey per Dallas Buyers Club, mentre 12 Years a Slave si conferma il Miglior Film Drammatico dell’anno. Per il settore televisivo Breaking Bad è la serie dell’anno e il suo interprete Bryan Cranston il miglior attore in una serie drammatica.
