In attesa degli ultimi botti di fine anno – Avatar: La Via dell’Acqua e The Fabelmans su tutti – si scaldano i motori per la prossima stagione dei premi. Ad aprire le danze sono arrivate le nomination per gli Independent Spirit Awards, ovvero i premi che dal 1986 sostengono e promuovono il cinema indipendente.

Non è raro trovarci anche qualche titolo che può giocarsi le sue carte nella prossima notte degli Oscar e quest’anno c’è anche un po’ di Italia. Tra i nominati infatti troviamo anche Bones and All di Luca Guadagnino, nuovo road movie e love story tra due giovani cannibali (Taylor Russell e Timothée Chalamet) e di cui potete leggere QUI la nostra recensione.

A conquistare il maggior numero di nomination però è stato il film della A24 Everything Everywhere All at Once, definito il “film definitivo sul Multiverso” e con Michelle Yeoh, Ke Huy Quan, Jamie Lee Curtis e Stephanie Hsu, tutti in lista grazie alla loro performance. A proposito di grandi attori, non mancano 7 candidature anche per Tàr di Todd Field, film con Cate Blanchett già apprezzato a Venezia 79.

La cerimonia degli Independent Spirit Awards si terrà il 4 marzo 2023 presso la spiaggia del Santa Monica Pier. Il 13 dicembre verranno invece svelate le nomination per le categorie televisive. Qui di seguito, tutti i nominati annunciati.
