La notte degli Oscar si avvicina sempre più e oggi sono state annunciate le canzoni presenti nella rosa delle candidate a entrare in nomination per la categoria Miglior canzone originale. La lista comprende ben 49 canzoni, tra cui le più gettonate sono quelle di High School Musical 3 , presente con ben 11 canzoni. Tra le più famose troviamo anche Another Way to Die (cantata da Alicia Keys e Jack White) di Quantum of Solace e I Thought I Lost You (interpretata da Miley Cyrus e John Travolta) di Bolt – Un eroe a quattro zampe . Per ogni film possono essere nominate solo due canzoni, che contengano sia testo che musica originali. Per le nomination definitive dovremo aspettare il 22 gennaio, mentre la premiazione degli Oscar avrà luogo il 22 Febbraio 2009 al Kodak Theatre di Los Angeles.
