Si è tenuto qualche ora fa a Santa Monica, California, l’annuale appuntamento con i People’s Choice Awards 2018, la rinomata cerimonia di premiazione che permette esclusivamente al pubblico – e non a una giuria di esperti, giornalisti o addetti ai lavori – di votare e scegliere i vincitori di ogni edizione.

E a trionfare con le statuette più importanti – tra cui quella per il Miglior film e il Miglior attore – anche quest’anno è stato il cinecomic corale dei Marvel Studios, Avengers: Endgame, la cui vittoria segue quella di Infinity War, che aveva invece stracciato la concorrenza nel 2018.

Stranger Things trionfa invece come Migliore show e Miglior drama, dimostrandosi una delle serie tv più seguite dell’anno e dai protagonisti più amati, con la giovane Millie Bobby Brown che si è portata a casa anche il riconoscimento come Miglior attrice tv del 2019.
